Comments: Hey Hot Club of Cowtown, Ever since you came to the Rochester International Jazz Fest last year, and I got to meet you afterward, I've been listening to your music! You're definitely my #2 favorite band next to Queen  (not too shabby!)You're also very inspiring - every time I hear you, I want to learn my Danelectro a little better, so I can just strum along. Sometimes I cave in and just sing along instead. The other day I found out I can rent an upright bass cheap, and well, I know who I'm going to try to play along with! So I just saw the schedule and noticed that you all are in Bend, OR at a private function on 12/8....We just moved to Sisters, OR (from Austin) about 20 miles away from Bend....Does the private function need waiters? Can we set your backline? Bring you coffee? Carry instrument cases? Introduce you? Or should we just politely crash the whole gig and ask forgiveness? I'm desparate for an HCoC fix! I'm not crazy...just miss seeing you all play. In Austin last week....no Hot Club...no Monte...it was so sad! Best to you! Dr. Karl
Comments: Last night I was listening to George Strait's Trubador CD. He does a duet with Dean Dillon called "West Texas Town". I was just thinking that it has the perfect amount of swing for HCOC. I hope you'll consider including it in your repetoire sometime. Thanks.
Comments: I saw your group a few weeks ago in Coffeyville, Kansas. I was wowed! All of you are extremely good at what you do. Does your name have reference to the Hot Club of Paris where Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli played. You did some numbers which had that gypsy feel.
