Comments: We're looking forward to your July appearances in Minnesota! The Dakota Jazz Club is a beautiful venue with great sound and you will have a wonderful time playing there. Grand Rapids should be great too, especially if you are playing outdoors.
Comments: Hey guys, loved the show in Nashville last Thursday...but you know that! Hey Witt, I got my mind back and now remember what I wanted to hear: Polka Dots and Moonbeams, Sallie Goodin', and When I Lost You. Oh, well, I have them at home and everything you did was totally awesome! You guys totally blow my mind! So, back to my usual question...when are you coming back to Nashville? Can't wait! "One of the three sisters"...Peggy
Comments: Elana, Whit, Jake & Cindy, Great to see all of you at the NCMOA in Raleigh. Despite the torrential down pour and the 11th hour executive decision to punt (move inside) you guys still put on a hot, hot, hot show. Enjoyed being there for the sound check too. Realizing that you had no monitor mix just shows how professional you all are to overcome that and still put out an amazing sound. You definitely made it worth the thirteen hour round trip. Thanks for all of the autographs and hand shakes. You are all so personable and approachable. We enjoyed hearing many old favorites as well as a few tunes that we have never heard you play before. When I heard mention of upcoming studio sessions I got quite excited to be looking forward to some new tracks. The sampler was great to listen to on the trip home. Keep up the great work and keep swinging back through the Mid Atlantic region and we'll keep coming to support you. Thanks again, Jim & Krista
Comments: Hiya, Delighted to hear you are touring in the UK again, we caught your performance in Manchester and it was so good, we took a day off work a couple of days later to see you in Birmingham. Looking forward to September.
Comments: I used to come listen and dance to your weekly shows at the Continental Club, but it had been a while since I saw you all playing together until last night in Raleigh. What a treat. Brought some music playing friends to the show and everyone had a great time. We all left with that "I only wish I could ever play like that, but damn, I'm inspired anyway!" glow. And a yen for fish sticks. Hopefully I'll get back to Austin sometime soon - sitting up close in a great auditorium, while awesome, does not compare to a club with dancing! Meanwhile, hope you come back to NC soon, and often. Thank you!
Comments: Saw your show last night in Raleigh, North Carolina. Sorry about the rain making your show move indoors (no room to dance). Huge fan of western swing and have been since my days at Texas Tech. Thanks for the great show and really enjoyed your music. Added your tunes to my playlist and will keep an eye out for you when you come back through.
Comments: its so cool that you guys have my name i never heard of u
Comments: So glad you'll be returning to Little Rock tonight. You should be the headline group and not the opening act, but, hey, at least we'll get to see/hear you again. Any chance you might play "When I Lost You"? It's my favorite Hot Club song. Break no strings! Jim
Comments: Y'all sounded great at Goodfolk's tonight. Mike Shirkey was talking y'all up pretty well last week at another show he hosted. He was right.!!! Goodfolk's always has very talented folks playing there and y'all fit right in. Fayetteville is lucky to have Mike. We hope y'all come back to Fayetteville. We'll try to bring friends (both of them) to your next show. Have a safe road trip.
Comments: greetings. i was listening to 'long way home' and tried to find it on your website but couldn't. i have all your cd's. would like this one. jammed with you guys at sam's town las vegas in 05 in the food court. i played the red accordion along with ginney mac and joey muscalin. you guys are great. i've been a fan of bob wills, aldolph honer, django reinhardt and stephane grapelli for a long time. wishing you continued success. come back to california. saw you at the coachhouse. take care. patrick smith
Comments: Great to see youse all back on the road. Amaranta house awaits. Give Ray a jingle fore your next west coast swing. hasta
Comments: Sorrry we missed you guys at the WV Wine and Arts Festival. What a shame that you were playing an hour from our home and we didn't make it. DelFest was just too smokin' and it was in our home town that same weekend. We saw so many amazing pickers and fiddlers. Got to meet Bela Fleck. Yeah. Anyway, we'll see you in Raleigh at the NCMA. I need a fix. Six months is way too long for us to go in between gigs. Jim & Krista ![]()
Comments: Wow!! The concert at Greenville Texas Municipal Auditorium was one of the most fabulous concerts that we have ever seen. Your band is TOPS with us from now on. We have been huge Asleep at the Wheel fans for years, so to see them, Johnny and Emily Gimble and you guys was the best concert of Western Swing music this side of the Red River. Your songs were fun and energetic, just the best!!! My family will remember always how you treated us like family, and were so easy to talk to and visit with after the show. Anytime that you are in the Lake Texoma area, let us know and we'll cook up some burgers for you! Take care and hope to see you again real soon!
Comments: Great to hear you're back touring. Look forward to the UK tour, saw you a Glastonbury a few years and we had 'Deed I do' as the first dance at our wedding last year. Come to Oxford!
Comments: Great that you're touring again -- come to Toronto, or be in the UK in January-June, 2009.
Comments: please, if you can, come back to Rochester NY.
Comments: Thank you so much for coming back to Atlanta! We missed y'all so much! It felt like a private party for us too. Hugs & kisses to Eva, and safe travels.
Comments: Whit, Elana & Jake - I was thrilled to hear that you all are making music & touring together again. I haven't seen any of you since 2004 on the Willie/Dylan tour in Sevierville, TN. Please try to swing back through East Tennessee soon! Let me know & I'll recommend venues, put up posters & fliers, post about the show on blogs & message boards, etc., etc. Best of luck out there, hope y'all have a great summer. ~ Jason in Knoxville |
