Comments: I saw you supporting Roxy Music at the LG Arena, Birmingham. As an ardent Roxy fan, I wasnt too fussed about seeing the support acts but Im so glad I did! You were excellent!! I can honestly say Ive never seen such talent, the guys in Roxy sure knew what they were doing when they booked you. A fantastic start to the night! Thanks Guys! x
Comments: A great set at the LG Arena - you made a wet Monday night in Birmingham kick off with a swing: I vaguely knew of you by reputation but seeing you at that show was a delightful surprise. It was a particularly enlightened thinking on the part of Roxy Music to invite you and made a very pleasant change from the standard opening act fare.

Comments: I was at The Coffee Gallery Backstage in Alta Dena, California the other week and I asked Bob Stane if you guys were going to slip onstage when you are in town for the Santa Clarita Cowboy festival like you did two years ago. He said he didn't know, you hadn't called him yet. YOU hadn't called HIM? Good heavens, Bob. So I'm asking you to, if you would be able to perform in one of the loveliest intimate venues around when you are in town, please call Bob Stane! Can't wait to see you guys!

Comments: I saw Hot Club play in Manchester, 30th Jan supporting Roxy Music. I'm not normally a big fan of music from the US, but Hot Club were outstanding. The standard of musicianship was out of this world. I've been to quite a few gigs at the arena, this was probably one of the best musical performances I've ever heard there! I really enjoyed it, thank you and well played. From Martin, a new fan!
Comments: I was really looking forward to your gig in Rosemoor Garden in Devon this May, it would have been a beautiful venue, but it looks like it's been cancelled now. Hoping you won't become too much of a stadium band - your two Chagford Village Hall gigs were so fantastic. Any plans to come back to the UK later this year?
Comments: Just wanted to say thanks for the "What Makes Bob Holler" CD, t-shirt, stickers, and signed poster (all for only $50). Got it fast and there was a little red heart drawn next to Elana's signature so I'm pretty sure we got a little Sid and Nancy thing going....

Comments: Like Stuart below, we had immediately booked tickets for the Ipswich show in May 2011 having waited for years for the Hot Club to visit our neck of the woods. We were very disappointed to learn that the show had been cancelled, with neither explanation nor apology. What went wrong?
Comments: Further to my earlier message I was pleased to see that you were coming to Ipswich in England in May 2011. We booked tickets immediately. we have now been told it has been cancelled and the venue don't really know why. We were very disappointed - what is happening and do you intend to rearrange the show? |
