Comments: ....... still on a high from your show last night in Nottingham.
Comments: Hi Elana, Whit & Jake Really enjoying your new album. I have all your previous CD's and I really think "Rendezvous in Rhythm" is your best yet. Great old tunes brought up to date in your own inimitable style. I saw you live here in Belfast a few years ago and I have been disappointed that you have not returned. Were we that bad an audience? So come on and put Belfast on a future tour list!
Comments: I've loved western swing ever since I was a teen back in the 40s learning a few guitar chords & string bass with Bob Wills 78s on a wind up victrola. I just discovered your trio over the weekend surfing you tube. Jazz fiddle is my favorite and you're playing songs familiar to me! Great talented trio!
Comments: Hi guys LOVED your show at the Hippodrome last night. My first visit to this venue - thought the place had a lovely vibe and was a great setting to enjoy seeing you again. Just a couple of thoughts for future UK tours which I hope will be soon... 1: Edinburgh Festival - the biggest cultural show on earth bar none. You guys would go down a storm there and you would love both the city and the festival. I have no idea how commercially viable it is but you should pester your management to look into it for you. It's on in August. Apart from playing you'll have an experience of networking with other artists like no other. 2: Ronnie Scotts ( in London ) another great venue, it's first and foremost a jazzclub but only by the very loosest of interpretations. I'm sure you guys would go down a storm there and would love the venue. It's a posh nightclub, a bit like the Hippodrome but the spiritual home of good music in London. Everyone from Ella Fitzgerald to Jeff Beck has played there. 3: Jazz Cafe ( London ) a bigger, audience mostly standing venue, younger crowd, always buzzing, again I think you'd go down a storm there! Looking at your showlist I'm guessing you're not short of gigs but from a purely selfish point of view ( yours that is ) I think these are all places you'd have a lot of fun playing in. All the best and look forward to seeing you next time you're in town. love Philip
Comments: Hi Alana & team, I first caught your act at Bluesfest in Byron Bay (Australia) a couple of years ago and have been a fan ever since. I'm absolutely stoked that I'll get to catch you again at North Berwick. Will Orange Blossom Special be on the playlist? Cheers, dave
Comments: Hi, Elana, Whit and Jake, saw your show in Pontypridd last week, I'm the guy from California that came up and spoke to you, it was a great thrill to have you play Tchavolo Swing and acknowledge me from the stage, fantastic show. Enjoy the rest of your UK tour, looking forward to seeing you at next year's Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival. Glad I was able to get your new CD before it's even available in the US. Best wishes, Len
