Comments: Fun fun fun !!!! Got invited to ME&THEE Coffeehouse last nite at the very last moment for your show. Had no idea who or what I was going to see. Loved it. The sound, the showmanship, the professionalism and the collaboration between all three of you is magic! Keep going. www.style64.blogspot.com
Comments: My wife, Dana, and I just saw you all at Jammin' Java last night and I wanted to express my appreciation to you for being so kind to your fans, as well as, being one of the most professional and entertaining live acts in the business today. The only regret that we had was not being able to see Eva and to get her pawtograph. The next time we come to see you play, I'm going to request "Love In Bloom" for all Jack Benny fans. Hope to see you all soon and please keep safe on the road. Joe and Dana Johnson
Comments: Hi guys, could you let me know if you are coming to the arts centre in norwich in England in the autumn or a list of uk dates would be bril, many thanks Tim.
Comments: As long as you are on the East coast how about stopping for a show at the Sellersville Theater. You were last here in November of 2011. We miss you and want you back.
Comments: I won't reiterate what everyone else's said – except to say you're the very best! I've got a question for Elana. I was at the Sage, Gateshead gig and your sound seems a little sweeter and warmer, is that a change of fiddle or strings (what are they?), or both. Love to all, David
Comments: Really looking forward to your UK Tour in the Autumn. Am hugely impressed by the CDs after stumbling across you via Johnny Gimble. See you soon !
Comments: As always was great seing y'all again! Seems like just a "few" years back that we left Gruene telling all our friends about this new trio from down Austin way! Still showing all that power after all these years! Y'all have carried the Western Swing music flag worldwide. THANKS for playing all our request!! 'Till next time at Gruene, be careful! Duke & Cindy
Comments: So happy to see that y'all will be playing again at the park in Ridgefield, CT. Already warming up our dancing shoes! Please, Elana, will you sing "AT LAST?" (Coz we love a slow dance, too ![]()
Comments: Dear folks, A couple of years ago I saw you in Aberdeen and Glasgow, I had been listening to your cd's for years, but in the flesh it was oh so much better the excitement that you produce spread through the audience and they were wonderful gigs. So now to the point when are you coming back to Bonnie Scotland because we miss you. Bob PS please make it soon.
Comments: Dear Ms. James, You came to mind this morning as we listened to music by an impromptu group called ‘The Time Jumpers’ (Vince Gill and others)on ‘The Don Imus’ radio and TV show. I so enjoyed visiting with you so many years ago when you opened for Tom Russell or he opened for you? I don’t remember where and most likely it’s all a blur to you, too. I’m signing up for e-mails so if you are ever near us we can travel to your venue. We wouldn’t miss it for anything. You know how to make fascinating music that captures our attention. Thank you.
Best regards,
Jane Giesbrecht
Comments: Thank you so much for taking the time to talk to us tonight, and authographing our tshirts. We enjoyed your show!!! Hope to see you again in Gruene Hall next month. ♡
Comments: I met Elana and Whit at the Broken Spoke ca 1997 when Elana was hired to play fiddle with Freddy Powers who opened for Floyd Tillman. A friend of mine and I put them in touch with a group who hired them for their first good paying gig in Austin. We have stayed in touch through the years and I get to see them when they play Fort Worth. They are the tightest knit group I have ever seen and I include the Playboys. Comments: Jake: What brand/type of strings are you playing on your bass? |
