I was wondering why the venue has been "TBA" for so long. No worries, I'll just keep checking and pick up tickets whenever they're available. We haven't seen in each in lo these many years, since I was working at NPR (you know that in 2011 they blacklisted me because of my political activities?). Anyway, am crossing my fingers for the appearance of Hot Club of Cowtown somewhere in the Baltimore are so we can catch up. In a serendipitous occurrence, I just mentioned you to a Canadian friend as a great fiddle player. That's what prompted me to come look you up. Just noticed that you are (or at least Elana is) fans of Huun-Huur-Tu, and wanted to say that I have seen you both at the same place: the always-great Iron Horse in Northampton. Maybe you could do a show together there some day. Thanks for the music.
Comments: We just saw you at the OK Mozart Festival and as usual it was a great concert. I was able to get front row seats to the left and could see all of Whit's guitar work. What an inspiration for an old guitar player like myself. We really enjoy your new CD, looks like I've got some new songs to learn. We have a trio and play music at nursing home facilities and thanks to all the wonderful music you all play we are able to bring back many memories for the residents. Keep up the great music!!!
